DIY Diet

  • Total daily calorie intake: ~1000 – 1500 calories.  Do not go below 800 calories a day, as it will cause metabolic slowdown and make you very uncomfortable or even feel sick.  You should divide the 1000-1500 calories into 2-3 meals.
  • Recommended Meal Plans:
    • Breakfast: a protein bar or shake (Healthwise protein bars from our offices),
    • Mid Morning snack: a protein bar or shake (Healthwise protein bars from our offices),
    • Lunch: a protein bar or shake (Healthwise protein bars from our offices) + a green veggie salad,
    • Dinner: home cooked high protein meal (white fish, chicken or turkey breast or pork chop) + green veggie salad,
  • You may eat 2-3 meals a day including a breakfast.  You may also have 2 snacks between meals.
  • Key Notes:
    • Eat a breakfast,
    • Eat a small dinner,
    • Eat more proteins, less carb and fat,
    • Drink plenty of water,
    • Eat green levy veggies 2-3 times a day.
    • Do not take appetite suppressant too early in the day.

High strength vitamin/mineral tablets

In our Holistic hCG Diet, we include a high potency vitamin/mineral tablet (T-Gram or M-Vite).  T-Gram/M-Vite is very important when you are on our hCG diet.  It is to balance the electrolytes and vitamins.  Without T-Gram/M-Vite, it is very likely that you may develop side effects such as leg cramps and other discomfort.  Take T-Gram or M-Vite with food at supper time.  Do not take it in the morning with an empty stomach, as it will very likely cause stomach upset.

Our mineral/vitamin tablets contain 100% or more of the daily recommended doses of vitamins and minerals, than the ones sold over the counter.  One tablet a day of T-Gram/M-Vite is sufficient to maintain your electrolyte and vitamin balance under normal circumstances.  But if you sweat more than usual (such as gardening or exercising in the summer for hours), you will need to supplement yourself with extra electrolytes.  You may do so by adding lemon juice into your water bottle (do not add sugar), or eat some salted pickles.

Obesity -> Esophageal Diseases

  • Obesity, particularly with a predominantly abdominal distribution of fat, is associated with an increased risk of esophageal adenocarcinoma, Barrett esophagus and GERD

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 injection may give you extra energy.  B12 plays an important role in your metabolism.  Lack of B12 will, therefore, cause a metabolic slowdown.  Most people who are not picky on their food should have plenty of B12 in diet.  Those who are low in B12 are probably because they can’t absorb B12 from the food.  As a result, B12 capsules or tablets don’t really help.  You need B12 injected to bypass the absorption problem.

  • Can you test for B12 deficiency?  Yes.  But unnecessary.  If you suspect B12 deficiency, give yourself a B12 shot.  If you feel an energy boost, then very likely you need extra B12.  B12 is very inexpensive and usually has no side effects.
  • How to use B12? The recommended dose is once a week self administered injection.
