For new patients and exisitng patients with new insurance policies, it is Your Respoinsiblity to update your insurance information online at here or bring a copy of your insurance policy and the current statement of your deductibles and co-payments, to your office visit. Nearly every insurance policy has a high deductible amount in today's world, we will collect the office visit and test fees towards your deductibles and co-payments at your first visit, unless you can show you have met your deductibles. Once it's proven you have met your deductibles for that year, we'll collect only co-payments or co-insurances.
Insurance Policy
If you want us to file your doctor's visits to your insurance companies, DrWLC will collect office visit fees and test fees for all new patients. If your insurance cmpany reimburses us for your visit and tests, we'll refund you using this formula:
Your refund = your payment of visit or test fees* to DrWLC - your copayment - your deductibles.
Note: *Only your office visit fee or test fee payment portion, not including supplements or medications from our offices.
For instance, if you paid a total of $200 including $80 for visit and $50 for a test, $70 for products. Insurance reimbursed us $100 for your office vist (with a $15 copayment), $30 for test (with a $15 copayment), then your credit is $80 - $15 = $65 (for office visit); and $50 - $15 = $35 (for test fee).
There may be some differences between your insurance company's policy and ours. If you don't agree with our policy, please pay out of your pocket for all the services and products you may receive from us and we will not file claims to your insurance company. Thank you.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, money orders, bank checks and cash only. We no longer accept personal checks. We have received too many returned checks or stop-payment checks.
Returned checks will be charged a $50 service fee ($25 returned check fee and $25 late fee). All unpaid debts will be sent for collection and legal action.
